Equestrian Summer Camp

Shohola’s equestrian summer camp program offers instruction in English Saddle horsemanship.  With parental permission more advanced riders may learn to jump in our summer horse camp.  And there is a “horsemen” program which teaches animal care and stable management to campers who are interested. The riding program also offers the possibility of competing in horse shows within the summer equestrian camp and against other camps.

 Campers can ride three or six days per week, and horseback riding is the only regular activity which carries a small extra fee.  Please see the application for the riding costs by session.
