Football Camp

Below are articles writen by kids about their football training experinces at Camp Shohola

Football Camp

By Ryan Levan Cabin 12

Upper Camp Football is great. It's run by Larry at the period 2B. Larry teaches us some techniques in play called passing and receiving. Then he lets us play a game in which he wants us to incorporate the skills, hints, and tips, that he taught us. We usually try playing football with different variations. Some games are played with no blocking or no offensive line. These games are both challenging and fun, as well as a great way to learn football skills. I always look forward to 2B football and I hope that it is offered to campers in the years to come.

Summer Football Camp

By Zach Frankel Cabin 7

Football at Camp Shohola is a great chance for sharpening football skills. We play a lot of football; it is a lot of fun.

Kids Football Camp

by Sipho Simela Working Senior

Football is one of the very many landsports at Shohola that includes more than just physical activity. It requires mental, emotional, and physical awareness. Football is taught by Adam Dolton, Jordan Glick, and Mike Bomze. In this class we play games, condition, and learn how to play certain positions. The class is offered in period 2B and is a great way to sharpen skills and learn about a great game.
