There are less than 40 days until drop off day at Camp Shohola! Our boys camp near New York is ready to give our campers the best summer ever and have endless fun! We are a small boys camp located in northeastern Pennsylvania, not too far from home in New York. Keep reading to find out why we are the best.
At Camp Shohola, we offer one of the most complete camping programs. We have a well-rounded set of boys camp activities to please the interests of every camper. A typical day at boys camp consists of five activity periods, meals, rest hours, free time, and an evening activity every night right before lights out. These boys camp activities are divided in six different departments; land sports, water-sports, outdoor adventures, equestrian, communication & technology, and art. Days of the week are also split into “A” and “B” days. By doing this, boys are given the opportunity to choose ten total activities instead of doing the same five every day. If the camper doesn’t like an activity that he chose, he has the option to switch within the first week. After the four-week session, continuing campers will get a new schedule for the next boys camp session.
We also offer a variety of boys camp trips. These trips include rafting, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, camping, and special excursions to historical sites. All of these tips are located around the tri-state area and parents will be notified and asked for permission first. We also have a variety of special boys camp events. These include canteens, Sunday night campfires, cookouts, dances with our sister camp, color war, international food night, Klondike day & carnival, baseball game trips, and a banquet.
