of northeastern Pennsylvania, and accredited by the American Camp Association.

Shohola summer boys camp provides excellent summer camp options for every boy. We focus on offering life-changing camp experiences. Shohola is a third-generation family owned and operated summer boys camp. We have been providing camp for boys since 1943. Our beautiful outdoor campus is located on beautiful Lake Greeley in the Poconos.

Boys are very unique in their interests and our summer boys camp is designed to meet each boys expectations of summer camp adventure while providing them with unique skills in their field of interest. For example, each summer camper is provided with swim lessons and elective activities which are taught in the beautiful outdoor setting. Daily activities will be preselected based on the boy's particular interests. Campers can choose from: computers, arts, and horsemanship, athletics and water sports. We focus on each boy's individuality and we embrace each boy's diversity with regard to culture, race, religion and experience.

Each camper at Shohola camp for boys will pre-select a total of 10 activities. These activities will be based on his own unique interests. Choices are available for the creative boy, the artistic boy, the techie and the athletic boy. These activities include: equestrian, outdoor adventure, water sports, land sports, arts, and comm-tech. The activities provided in each program are unique and offer each boy special acquisition of new skills. The land sports program offers a competitive edge through competing with other summer boys camps in the area. The arts program provides specialized training in various areas including photography, poetry, rock band and painting. Some of the other activities offered include: web design, boating, fishing, softball, computer programming, canoeing, backpacking and basketball.

Year after year our campers return to Shohola camp for boys with excitement and expectation. We offer professionally trained counselors with an extremely low camper to counselor ratio of nearly two to one. Parents enjoy the small camp feel as they can call the camp at any time to speak personally with the director. Providing excellent care of your boy and providing him with unique skills and confidence boosters which raise his self-esteem substantially is the focus here at Shohola camp for boys.
