What to do if Your Child Needs to Take Medications at Camp.

If your son takes regular medications, our nursing staff will dispense the medications as prescribed by your doctor.  Because the number of campers needing regular medications has increased over the years, Shohola uses the services of an organization called CampMeds.  You will register with CampMeds and send them your son’s prescription information.  For a small fee, they will pre-package all of the medicine to be dispensed while he is at camp.  This will greatly reduce our nurses’ administration time regarding medications and also will reduce the chances of a mistake being made while giving out medicine.
